What is a Lifestyle Magazine?

  For my Media NEA project, I will be creating a Lifestyle Magazine. The concept of a lifestyle magazine is primarily used in reference to the magazine’s tone. They are often light-hearted, entertaining, and something for audiences to read, whilst still providing information on certain topics. A Lifestyle Magazine focuses on the basic needs and interests of people, and is centred around 'lifestyle', such as sports, health, homes, beauty, leisure, fashion, culture and travel etc.  They are sold all over the world and can cater to a range of demographics, including men, women, teenagers, and adults, for example. Popular lifestyle magazines include Vogue, a primarily female-audience magazine that focuses on fashion, beauty, culture, living, and runway; and GQ, a men’s magazine for all things fashion, style, culture, and much more.

  COVER STAR 1: WILL DUDDING Saint Hendrix, Male, Age 17 Saint Hendrix, son of catholic parents Bonnie and James, is a talented young guitarist with a no.2 song on the official top 40 and Billboard’s Hot 100 at the age of only 17. Born in Scunthorpe and raised in Hull, Saint has an interest in both American and British music, especially all things pop rock.
